so i was downloading the snow patrol album and there's this awesome song on it. 'set the fire to the third bar', which is a collabo with a woman named martha wainwright...i had a hunch she was related to rufus wainwright, this amazing singer who sang 'cigarettes and chocolate milk'. turns out she's his sister. everyone should check him out. he's gay, used to be a hardcore druggie(once took so much that he went blind) and was raped in london's hyde park. by a man. sad life i say. but he's oh-so-hot. i keep reminding myself he's gay. which kinda sucks cos i discovered that nav's and my LAST eye-candy in tj carries a handkerchief to school. all together now: AIYAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yeah that was pretty much my reaction when i first saw the hanky. cheryl has something against guys who wear pink and drink 'strawberries and cream' from starbucks. i have a thing against hankies. but it's not a "oh-my-God-how-old-fashioned-uncle-type-are-you?" reaction. its like a "ee-bad-hygiene" reaction. i mean think about it. they blow their nose, wipe their sweat and wipe their wet hands all on the same hanky and then let it fester in their pockets for the whole day....not too nice. and ok yes, it IS a bit uncle-ish.
2 more weeks of school. 1 month to A levels. 6 weeks til this is all over!! *happydance*

benefica 0 man u 1. when i heard this,it was probably one of the approximately 10 times i've smiled in the past 3 days. anyone who knows me well enough will know that that's very little. i feel like i'm being choked to death by my own life. does that make sense? today i discovered snow patrol have been around for 12 years. and here i was listening to crappy music during that entire time. i'm floundering and spinning out of control and have no idea what to do with myself. and to answer my own question. i make no sense even to myself. i know i'm not usually like this. this might alarm a few people. but i just needed to say this. i'll be fine tmr. i hope.

wah i've just had the worst weekend in a looooooooooooooooooong time. it was full of disappointing football matches, physics tys, scoldings from my mum, missing the chance to go out,missing seeing cedar on tv, and missing the chance to talk to my sis and dad. believe it or not, the physics tys was the best part of this weekend.
started well enough with the previously mentioned friday in the sun with my wonderful classmates. so friday was fine. then, on saturday morning i was trying to play the 'prison break' dvd that chau lent me, and found out that my com is so low class that it couldnt play sean's high class dvd. bummer. tho i think in a way it was a blessing cos if it had played, i wouldnt have started revising phys. so ok la, this one i can let it go. then saturday night. chelsea, arsenal, liverpool all won their games. super riise strike! so at 1210, i was quite excited to watch man u vs reading cos i thought man u will be totally ruthless after losing to ARSEnal. of course life never turns out the way you want it to. disappointing 1-1 draw, though i must say ronaldo was effing BRILLIANT and he looked brilliant while playing brilliantly. haha. but he was like the only one working hard. 1 point out of a possible 6. that's CRAP!
so sunday i woke up a bit late. did phys tys in the morning then my sis messaged me to ask me to come online. so i let my mum talk to her first...then dunno what happened online but my mum was in a damn bad mood by the time it was my turn to talk. and i dint know her mood sucked. so i happily asked her whether i can go out that afternoon. and this was an important thing i had to do outside. she totally blew up at me and said that there are only 6 weeks to A levels how come i'm still going out?!?!?! and some other stuff that only my sis will understand. so i shall not say here. ya la it was damn bad la. so anyway, while she was screaming at me, obviously i couldnt chat with my sis rite? she'd have blown a hissy fit and thundered on about how i should be paying attention to what she's saying(screaming) though she's screamed it all before.so my sis got tired of waiting and went to bathe. and later in the day i missed her call..so i couldnt talk to my sis, OR go out. not too great. instead of going out, i was stuck with Hitler reincarnated (for that is what my mother is many days of the year) and my phys tys. later at night, my dad called at 8.he had a flight at 10 so he had to go in the gate at 915. my mother complained to him about me and my sister from 8 all the way to 910. so i had a measly 5mins to say hi to him and tell him that i'm stuck at home doing phys with sunburn. sigh....
also missed seeing cedar on the news cos i was too scared to leave my room in case my mum blew up at me again for turning on the tv when i should be mugging my life away. i tell you my father and sister are evil ppl for leaving me alone with this woman. i know that's mean and unfilial and all that but REALLY!! if you were in my shoes you'd know what i meant. i always thought i was able to get along with my mum. apparently not!! ever since my sis left the house is just silent.
this is the first time in 2 years that i'm disappointed that there was no school on a monday. i would have gladly gone back just to get out of the house for a few hours.
i wanna watch the departed.its the english version of INFERNAL AFFAIRS and leonardo di caprio plays Tony Leung's character. i have a newfound respect for leo di caprio after watching 'catch me if you can' and 'the aviator'. he's not a pretty boy with no acting skills. he's a really good actor actually. if ya'll have the time, check out one of his old movies, "what's eating gilbert grape?"...it's him and johnny depp and they are both amazing in this movie. and i still wanna watch miami vice.
got this book titled "dogs don't bite when a growl will do"...its like a self help book for dog lovers showing us how we can be happier if we just take note of what dogs do in certain situations and apply it to our own life. while reading i can totally imagine the dogs these ppl talk about and they are so right. i cant wait to be independent and living alone, just me and a few dogs. bliss. |

yesterday was the best day i've had in a long long time. it was our class outing at sentosa. i think 15 of us turned up, late as usual (KAH SING!!) but nevermind. got to siloso beach at noon. we(the girls) wanted to find a toilet in which to change but it was so far away so we found this hut(for lack of a better word). actually there were no doors so we were looking out for each other. then, we realised it was a tram stop...and a tram was coming. so it was kind of a hilarious mad rush to get changed before any tourists saw us in various states of undress. a few of us brought tanning oil so we sprayed that on and then went to play beach volleyball. now i cant play volleyball to save my life so i basically stood in the sand and did nothing. switched to captains ball after a while which is more of my forte. but the sand was so blistering hot that we couldnt tahan. so went to stand in the water. ahh bliss.
went swimming. tried this funny stunt with arvin and jason. haha sorry to both of them if i injured them in any way! grabbing their heads and kicking their arms.
there was some jellyfish alert so everytime something rubbed against my leg i'd panic, but usually turned out to be seaweed la.
so basically it was just a day of tanning and playing and swimming and hanging out. aga and i were lazing in the shallows and talking about uni and stuff and after that i was thinking and got a bit sad. i mean, how come i've suddenly grown up? i'm going to UNI next year. that's so fast. what if i never see my beloved classmates again? 11/05 is like the nicest class i've ever been in where i get along with almost everybody. that was so rare back in cedar where everyone just stuck to their own cliques. of course 11 oso has cliques la, but everyone can still talk to each other and sit with each other in class with no problems.never had that before. i'll really miss my grp of buddies in 11 la. the whole group of us who always sit at the back of maths together. nvm during my vacations when i come back i WILL organize class outing. saddening. suddenly i dint wanna have to leave so soon.
my birthmark is burnt. yesterday it was ok. but today when i woke up it was stinging abit. time to go look for some lotion with aloe vera. but at least i have a tan. after being cooped up for 13856962046 months and not seeing the sun, it was so good to get out into the open. i should go to the beach more often. |

it's 1230 am on friday morning. my prelims ended 7 hours ago and i just spent 2.5 bliss filled hours watching prison break, this hot new show with a hot guy. his name is wentworth miller. let's forget the sad fact that his parents named him wentworth and concentrate on the fact that he's hot! good show oso. then, spent 11 to 1230 watching liverpool vs newcastle. ALONSO!! goal of the season. my god it was perfectttttttt.from the edge of the centre circle in his own half. aiyah i dunno how to describe it such that ya'll will understand the perfection. and the skill. and how hot he looked the entire game long. i realise liverpool is a good looking team. stevie g, alonso, garcia, gonzales, aurelio, carragher occasionally....reina(if only he wasnt bald). why man u dun have so many hot guys. only got alan smith and cristiano. actually i think rio quite sexy but nobody else seems to think so. spanish national team can be a bunch of models la. torres,raul,villa,alonso,garcia,morientes,vicente,casillas.need i say more.
ok anyway moving on. today's econs paper 2 was really damn scary. and chau sean that crazy bugger got full marks for MCQ!!!!!! LIKE WHAT??????????????????i'll be happy if i pass.grr..some ppl have it all. went out for class dinner after that at V8. very very fun. took neoprints with the girls. damn funny la. especially our superman pose and the rolling eyes one. ah such fun. tmr got class outing too! sentosa! tan! beach! football! yay!

wah lao nabei KNNCCB man u lost to arsenal. AT OLD TRAFFORD! shitbuggercrapola... but if i'm being totally honest, arsenal deserved to win. man u was shit from back to front. defence shit, midfield REALLY shit, attack shit. rooney non-existent and passing into no-man's-land. cristiano worked hard but dint put away chances even tho he looked bloody delicious. biggest mistake that fergie made: dint start carrick. 2nd biggest mistake: putting carrick on with only 10mins left.
you pay 18.6 million EFFING pounds for this guy, who passes the ball superbly, so PLAY HIM GODDAMMIT!!!!!! it was so obvious that fletch's and oshea's passes were going nowhere, and they needed some creative inspiration as well has defence-splitting passes to get thru arsenal's 5 man midfield (rosicky-hleb-fabregas i bow to you). and carrick is JUST the man for that. he is MADE for that role. and he can play defensive mid ok too...so put him onnnnnnnnnnnn. i remember me and aga moaning to each other about WHY he wasnt coming on. so he came, but too little too late.good goal by gunners. this is a transcript of mine and aga's SMS just after the goal which was in the 86th minute:

haiyah in other football news that is decidedly more pleasant, man u's 2 defenders rio(my sexy babe) and wes brown coached the england team for the homeless world cup. ya that's right. homeless world cup. apparently its a 4 a side football tournament for homeless ppl all over the world and this year its in africa. the england team trained in manchester and rio and wes were part of the coaching team. i love altruistic ppl like this. maybe this is why rio was like shit against celtic, he was tired after coaching this england team. nvm i forgive him. and barcelona are even better. they're paying UNICEF (UN children's charity) 1.5million euros a year for 5 years to put UNICEF's name on their jerseys. this is ending a century(or more) long tradition of not displaying any sponsorship logo on their jersey.(and remember THEY are paying UNICEF to use the logo not the other way around). some players are also donating a part of their wages to UNICEF. see this is what footballers should be doing. not asking for 130 000 pounds a week then getting sent off like michael ballack.when i heard about the barca thing i almost changed alliegance from real to them. considering real not doing too well, i should just jump ship anyway. not like im a big la liga fan. all my energy is devoted to praying for man u and their scary, concentrate-when-i-want-to defence.

field mob ft ciara - so what
i usually dont like hip hop, but this song is nice. especially the chorus.
well this week has pretty much been the week from hell.
monday: GP1 GP2 Econs3.
i dont understand how they can put 3 major writing papers like this on the same day. its just not humane. and for the stupid econs essays, i spent the first 15 minutes trying to recall everything i read about market failure before JCTs cos i dint study that topic for prelims but it came out. so after remembering one graph(and making up the other) i was on my way. then came the macro econs topics. it felt like i was writing the exact 2 same essays for both questions.everything was about aggregate demand and national income and fiscal policy. i drew the AD/NY graph twice. so to add a little variety i threw in a money suuply/interest rate graph which i'm not sure is entirely relevant and also a cost-push inflation graph, which i'm not sure is correct. by the time i stepped out of the hall at 415 i was a mass of cramped, frozen fingers(goddamn antarctic temperatures in the hall), jelly legs, mushy brains and hunger panging stomach.not one of my best days.
tuesday: maths paper1
ok this one was better. i never thought my pure maths was the strongest, but i suprised myself by having an idea of how to do MOST of the questions. my best paper so far. but then again, just for saying that i'll probably fail.
wed: chem paper3.

thursday: maths2, phys1, phys2.
another one of those 3-in-a-day, out to kill kind of days.maths 2 was so damn bad that NOBODY wanted to study for phys after that. i thot my stats was passable. apparently not. BAH! phys1...well lemme sum up how it went. mr chan my flamboyant phys teacher was muttering "very hard right?very hard right?" as he went down the row collecting our mcq sheets. ashen faces leaving the hall wondering WHAT had just hit them. paper 2 was slightly better but still not too great. the data-analysis was some effing grandmother story about the hydrogen cycle in the SUN!ya i'm really interested to know what's happening 2986358136048672398631647 miles away from me. apparently some scientists ARE interested but that's why these ppl never had friends when they were teenagers.you wanna know the icing on the cake? i hadnt slept well for 3 nights in a row cos i was always up studying til 3. on thursday morning, man u was playing their opening champs league match against celtic. it was a fantastic 3-2 win for them. why couldnt i watch the 2.30-4.30 game?because i was mugging phys, which was as useful as a toothpick in a swordfight. THEN, the replay of the match was on 3pm on ESPN, but i had to sit for the phys paper which was a waste of time cos i couldnt do it. and i dunno when the next replay is!!!!!!!!!!
i was so tired from the lack of sleep and mental exhaustion after 4 terrible days that i collapsed on my bed at11pm after the lost season finale and slept all the way thru to 10am this morning. i really wanna quit school.

ok i've rediscovered my love for Alias these past few days. i realise that season 4 is not as bad as i initially thought it was, although there is a very frustrating absence of sark. i mean i think THIS (see below) should be in every episode right?
 i remember those nights when alias was at 1230 on channel 5 and claudia and i would stay up and watch and message each other. we'd get so excited when he came on cos he was wearing a suit most of the time.and he looks fantabulous in a black suit...delectably evil came so easily to him. yeah bad boys rock. especially when they look like this...
ok prelims are in 36.5 hours. i wish they were in 36.5 days. A levels are in 53 days. *gulp*
hmm US open semis tonight. saw a very cool picture on the us open website. it's andy roddick. just LOOK at how scary the muscles in his right arm are.for those who cant tell left from right *coughfringecough* its the arm with the blue wristband.eek.looks like an alien arm.i dint know there so many muscles EXISTED in an arm!
 raar my 3rd wisdom tooth is growing. bloody perfect timing isnt it? well better now than A levels i say. but it usually takes around 2-3 months to completely sprout, which includes the A level period. AAH!! why is the world like this.
SIA is hiring stewardesses...i wanna sign up. as cheryl so rightly put it, the only thing we'd have to worry about was whether our new gorgeous red earth eyeshadow was in our bag, whether our hair looked good and whether our nailpolish was chipped. bliss. well its bliss for a vain girl like her anyway. haha.but its so tempting. its not that i dont wanna be a vet, but killing myself and losing all my hair over A levels seems a bit horrible, seeing as how i'd probably be equally happy doing either job. and travelling. i love travelling. i'd get the chance to go to europe, which i've wanted to do since forever. ARGH i hate singapore.i wanna get out of hereeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

met up with the p10 girlies today..well not all...like 1/2 of them. the official reason was to mug. in the end we mugged like 2 hours and then planned and carried out sally's bday party for the next 3! and i bought my eyeshadow!! haha i know i dont use makeup and all, but it was so pretty and i couldnt resist. i'll use it when i start working or something. which reminds me: FRINGE!! DO YOU WANT THE EYESHADOW? or bobbi brown choco collection? if you say bobbi brown this will be your bday present til you turn 30. ok i'll be lenient. 28.
we wanted to try the restaurant 'new york new york' today but it wasnt halal. since we thot qua was coming we went to pizza hut instead. then after we went in and sat down and all, qua messaged to say she wasnt coming. !@#$
we were tempted to walk out and go to NYNY, but decided it would be abominably rude, so we stayed...tried to trick sally about her bday present..ok its a long story which i wont elaborate here. basically we gave her 2 bags, one cheapo looking black one (the fake present) and one very nice white one(the real present)...and we tried to lie to her that the white one was from the pizza hut staff who were giving out robinson's presents to anyone who was having a birthday cos we requested for them to bring the nice present when they brought the cake. it was dumb. that's all you need to know.

wow steve irwin is dead. heard the news around 3pm today and even now, 9 hours later i'll suddenly think: steve irwin is dead...and i cant believe it. killed doing the thing he loved most. may he rest in peace. and God bless his poor family.to think that at one point in my life i thought to myself, "wow if i become a vet i'd wanna work in Australia Zoo with Steve Irwin." the crocodile hunter killed by a stingray. what are the odds.
watched independence day just now. i forgot how damn good this movie is. my mother thinks i'm crazy to like it but whatever. one of my idols just died. i'm allowed some insanity.
bah i'm tired. this entry was messed up and pointless. forgive the ranting. |

in the netherlands, elections are set for 22 November. a new political party has been formed by 3 paedophiles, and they are intending to run for election. some of their policies include lowering the legal age for sex from 16 to 12, legalising child pornography, legalising sex with animals, legalising hard and soft drugs and lowering the legal voting age to 12. now as we all now, porn(not child porn tho) and soft drugs are already legal in holland, but SERIOUSLY, the other policies are just mind-numbingly,shockingly horrifying! and here's the worst bit...the Dutch court has ruled that they will be allowed to stand for election!! why should children be subjected to the situation in which they will have to listen to these sickos and their campaign speeches, promoting child sex and child porn..and sex with ANIMALS!! what the hell is wrong with this world that we have to face situations like this.and voting at the age of 12???when i was 12 i dint give a shit about politics. all i thot of was PSLE and how hot ian thorpe looked swimming freestyle at sydney2000(which might be why i only got 248)... thankfully, the dutch public are outraged, and hopefully nothing will come of this 3 man psycho group. anyone wanna read more? here are the links
